FAQ
Questions we get anyway.
If your question is not here, book an intake.
Is switching a lot of work?
Not for you. We request the file from your current firm, move the ledger and connect the bank. You keep your login. We aim for a live set of books within 14 days.
Is the price on the site the price I pay?
The table is an indicative from-price per month, excluding VAT. No startup fee and no fee per invoice. Extra VOF partners, payslips and a full CFO engagement can change the amount. The intake checks whether the indication fits. You pay for Moneybird yourself, or through us.
Do I have to move to Moneybird?
Moneybird is the software we prefer to work in. You pay for it yourself, or through us. If you already use another package, we start there when the connections work. We only move when the current tool cannot handle your payouts.
Which businesses do you work with?
Founders in any industry: services, agencies, SaaS, trade, holdings and webshops. A shop on Shopify, Bol or Amazon is one example, not a requirement. The intake checks whether the engagement fits.
What if I also sell outside the Netherlands?
Sales to private customers in other EU countries, with the goods already in the EU, are called OSS. Up to €10,000 a year you may charge Dutch VAT. Above that, the VAT is the customer’s country, through one quarterly return. Sales to businesses in the EU, with their VAT number, are usually without Dutch VAT. A list goes with that, the ICP return. Parcels from outside the EU up to €150 are called IOSS: you charge the VAT at checkout and the return is monthly. Those schemes are not a separate surcharge on the from-price. We do reserve the VAT, so the return is not a surprise. The intake checks whether the engagement fits.
What does watching the money mean?
That is Financial Control: a forecast of receipts and payments, help with amounts Mollie or PayPal are holding, and tax you can read ahead. The provider decides on release. A full CFO engagement is custom and has no fixed monthly fee on this site.
How fast do you reply?
On weekdays, usually within a few hours. Not a ticket that sits for a week.
Am I locked into a year?
No. Cancel any month, with one calendar month of notice. The books live in your software, so you take the data with you.
Who owns the books?
You do. The software subscription is in your name. We have access while we work together.
What if I already have bookkeeping software?
Then we start there. We only move you if the current tool cannot handle your payouts, and we say so before anything moves.
What does an accountant cost?
The indication starts at €99 a month for a sole trader, €149 for a VOF with two partners, €299 for a BV, €399 for a BV with a holding and €99 for a standalone holding. That is Basis, excluding VAT, in any industry. Financial Control is €199 for a sole trader, €229 for a VOF and €299 for a BV. For a BV with a holding, Financial Control is on request. It does not apply to a standalone holding. Each extra partner in a VOF is €50 a month.
What is the difference between sales to private customers and parcels from outside the EU?
Sales to private customers in other EU countries, when the goods are already in the EU, are called OSS. Above €10,000 of those sales in a calendar year, VAT of the customer's country is due, through one quarterly return. Parcels from outside the EU worth up to €150 are called IOSS, with a monthly return. Stock you store in another EU country sits outside both.
Do you also cover webshops, alongside other industries?
Yes. A webshop is one example. We split a Shopify, Bol or Amazon payout into revenue, commission, shipping and VAT. The same idea, separating revenue and costs, is what we use for other businesses. There is no separate fee per channel on the from-price.
When does a business have to become a BV?
There is no legal revenue figure that forces a BV, in any industry. The conversation is about liability, how much you need privately and the extra administration, including the usual-wage rule. In 2026 that floor is €58,000, unless comparable work is demonstrably lower. The check on this site calculates the difference at your profit.
Do you work across the Netherlands?
Yes. The work is remote and the returns are Dutch. Stock in another EU country is not covered. That needs a VAT registration in that country.
Are you a statutory auditor?
No. DT Admin does the bookkeeping, the returns and, if you want it, the remote-CFO work. We are not a Dutch registeraccountant or AA firm, and we do not audit annual accounts.
